What We’re All About
In the music business over 50 years, TinPan Don has been repairing his own guitars electronics since the mid 70's and owned his own music rehearsal studio through the 80's where he did all his own electronics repairs not only on guitars but everything in the studio, Amps, mixing boards, PA's, keyboards and more. Through the 90's and early 2000's he operated his own TV and VCR repair shop from his apartment in Brooklyn. Now again operating from home in Long Island NY he offers his service to you. Guitar pickup replacement and wiring, testing for proper grounds, new potentiometer and caps installed, preamps and treble bleed circuits, coil split's and phase switching.
Our Services
Guitar Electronics upgrades and modifications. Pickup replacing, pot's caps, treble bleed circuits, vintage guitar electronics restoration. Add a Stetsbar Vibrato, they are non-evasive, meaning there are no holes to drill, no routing needed, we simply replace the existing stop end & tun-o-matic bridge with the proper Stetsbar assembly thus not degrading the original value of your guitar, you can always put back the original stop end and bridge.

Custom upgrades
This Epiphone Explorer recived 2 new Seymour Duncan pickups 3 500K Dunlop super pots a 0.047uf cap a custom pickguard with matching control knobs, a Stetsbar vibrato and an EMG afterburner preamp, "one of my masterpiece's" say's timpan.
Restorations
This 1960's Hagstrom was restored to full working order, with all new sliding switches a new volume pot and full rewiring with new electronics and all solid ground's, plays beautiful!
